The field trip to Birla Industrial and Technological Museum (BITM Kolkata)

The trip to Birla Industrial and Technological Museum imparted insightful knowledge to our SICW sponsorship children. This was the first excursion for these children after the pandemic.

Birla Industrial and Technological Museum, established in 1959, presented the children to a more scientific side of the world and this initiative came from B.C Roy, the then Chief Minister of West Bengal. The museum has an Underground Mock-up Coal Mine, Popular Science, and also a demonstration of how Technology in India evolved since independence. The SICW sponsorship children were intrigued by the Mock up Coal Mine and were amazed by the 3D live show.

Lastly there was an Open Air Science Show along with Stunts where few of the SICW children participated with much enthusiasm.
