SWACHHATA HI SEVA: Promoting Cleanliness and Creativity

1. Group Discussion: We conducted a group discussion with staff and children to explore the aims, objectives, and key activities focused on health, hygiene, and cleanliness at SICW. Staff received training on maintaining daily hygiene practices, including bathing, washing clothes, hair care, trimming nails, and proper feeding. Children were also encouraged to adopt good hygiene habits, such as regular handwashing and dental care.

2. Art and Craft Activity: "Best Out of Waste": In an engaging art and craft session, children, with the guidance of their teachers, transformed waste materials like crisp cans, dry leaves, disposable paper boxes, egg trays, and bottles into innovative and attractive creations. This hands-on activity taught children the importance of reusing, recycling, and reducing waste, fostering their creativity while promoting environmental responsibility.
