Know me for my Ability, not my Disability

International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) is a UN day that is celebrated every year on 3rd December. Celebration of this day aims to promote the inclusion of disabled individuals in all facets of society, increase awareness of the challenges faced by them and draws attention to the benefits of an inclusive and accessible society for all.

Udaan celebrated the day too with its children taking part in various performances of dance, music and poetry. With a view to promote inclusion, a few children from ECCEC too were involved in the performances. In the end, it was a day well spent for the staff as well as the children.
