On February 27, 2025, the Society for Indian Children’s Welfare (SICW) marked a deeply meaningful Founder’s Day, filled with heartfelt joy and profound gratitude. Our Community Centre at Jan Seva joined in the celebration, paying tribute to the incredible legacy of our beloved Founder, Late Dr. Zarin Dadina.
The occasion was graced by the vibrant performances of the children, who shared their talents through soulful dances and songs at both locations. Their presence brought warmth and happiness to the event, making it truly special. Board members, faculty, and staff gathered to reflect on their journeys with Dr. Dadina — a visionary leader, compassionate mentor, and guiding light for every marginalized child who found a home at SICW.
Dr. Dadina’s spirit was infectious, her dedication unwavering, and her heart open to all who sought her help. She wasn’t just a leader but the very soul of SICW. Today, her legacy continues to inspire us all, driving us to serve with the same passion, empathy, and discipline that she instilled in us. We honor her memory, knowing she continues to bless and guide us from above.
We wish everyone at the Society for Indian Children’s Welfare and our extended families worldwide a Happy Founder’s Day. May Dr. Dadina’s legacy live on in all that we do!
