Celebrating Teacher's Day at Jan Seva

On September 5, 2024, Jan Seva honored Teacher's Day with heartfelt celebrations alongside our dedicated teaching and non-teaching staff. This special day, first observed in 1962 to mark Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan's 77th birthday, began when students wished to celebrate their beloved teacher.

The occasion was filled with joy as teachers and caregivers received gifts from the organization, enjoyed lively music, and participated in a variety of engaging activities. A delicious lunch, generously provided by Jan Seva, capped off the festivities. Dr. Sumana Sur, who joined us for the day, presented the gifts and praised the wonderful meal shared by all. Teacher's Day serves as a cherished gathering for our entire staff, including drivers and security personnel, fostering a sense of community and appreciation.
