Jan Seva is given recognition at Nation Builder's Award Ceremony
Rotary Club Of Calcutta Megacity has organised Nation Builder's Award ceremony in which recognition was given to the Vocational excellence of the Teacher's from the different schools located in the districts of West Bengal under the TEACH program of Rotary India Literacy Mission (RILM). It was held on 19th Sept 2018 Wednesday at Rotary Sadan auditorium from 4.00 pm on wards. This program was graced by District Governor Mr. Mukul Sinha as Chief Guest and Prof. Amita Dutt as Guest of Honour. The other eminent personalities present from this club in this program were President Ms. Rashmi Tulsyan, Chairman RILM Mr Shekhar Mehta, Secretary Mr. Arindam Chanda, Past Presidents Mr Sanjib Chaudhuri and Past District Governor Mr. Aniruddha Ray Chaudhuri.
It was our pleasure that being a partner of the Adult Literacy Course of this club I am honored to attend this program. Mr Shekhar Mehta the Chairman of Rotary India Literacy Mission appreciated the efforts of Jan Seva in the field of Adult Literacy Govt. course being conducted with NIOS for the Bengali and Hindi subject. He was interested to know the response from the students. Mr Sanjib Chaudhuri and Mr Aniruddha Ray Chaudhuri explained how Jan Seva have slowly gained the popularity as being the Home centre for the NIOS exam in the districts of Kolkata and South 24 Pgs.
It was a beautifully composed program which gave recognition to the teachers like Soumen Dhali from Tentultala Sumatibala Gurupada Vidyapith, Tapan Kumar Maity Aswininagar J N Mondal Institution etc. Jan Seva's Adult Literacy Course was highlighted in the program for its excellence.
