Achievements of 'Udaan' Caregivers
Our Udaan care givers, Basanti Roy and Deepa Roy, guided and sponsored by SICW, have upgraded themselves professionally by attending the Care-givers course arranged by the Indian Institute of Cerebral Palsy. Having completed the course successfully, they have both received their Certificates from IICP.
Basanti Roy had taken an initiative to also complete her Class Ten board examination, while working relentlessly to serve our special children at Jan Seva, she has burned the midnight oil to pursue her desire to educate herself. Her self-determination has been fruitful and she has passed the final examination with second division marks. Her initial success has encouraged her to study further and now wants to complete her Higher Secondary, too!
SICW is with her all the way in her endevour.
