Teacher's Day Celebrations at Udaan
The Children at 'Udaan' celebrated the 128th birth anniversary of an Indian philosopher and statesman who was the first Vice President of India and the second President from 1962 to 1967 - he is Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan which is celebrated as Teacher's Day in India.
Our special educators, Riya and Sumitra were felicitated with cards made by the coordinator and assisted by special child Payel Maity to commemorate Teacher's Day, which was introduced by our second President of India.
Gifts which included chocolates, flowers and pens were presented by our children Sanjib Halder and Rashi Rajak to Riya and Sumitra, respectively.
And today also happens to be be birthday of the Hindu God, Ganapati celebrated as 'Ganesh Chaturthi' across India.
