SOCIETY FOR INDIAN CHILDREN'S WELFARE also referred to as SICW was born in 1979, the International Year of the Child. We are a non-profit social welfare organisation serving the needs of destitute women and children for over tfour decades. We are Recognised as a Specialised Adoption Agency under Section 41 (1) of the Juvenile Justice (Care & Protection of Children) Act, 2015.
Over the years we have grown and blossomed into a vibrant and visionary movement dedicated to the betterment and rehabilitation of children and women.
India has more orphans than any other country in the world. SICW has placed more than 2,500 children in loving homes across the world.
Sponsors residing in Kolkata can visit their beneficiary in our office.
One time donations are also accepted for our Education Program.
